House rules

What you need to consider when learning at IFL

Dear Parents/Students,

I have found it necessary to establish the following rules, which are MANDATORY for everyone to follow, and any breach or disregard of any of them will result in the termination of your attendance in the event of an emergency!

Mandatory rules for students studying at IFL Hungary:

They are in force: from 1st of January 2023

    1) Arrive on time and in a good condition!
    2) DON'T BE LATE! Coming late to the class has consequences. The clock does not run past the time of the delay! The whole price will be charged in case of delay as well! Be late for lessons at your own risk.
    3) Do your homework! Take your time to do the homework! Language learning is more than attending the classes once or twice a week!
    4) Take care of school equipment and furniture!
    5) Respect the working hours of your teacher! Messages received after 7 p.m. will be read only next morning at 8 a.m.! Messages/calls received after Friday 7 p.m. will be answered only next Monday at 8 a.m.! The latter is NOT RELEVANT in the case of classes on the weekend!
    6) If you are not ready for class even after the third warning, you must find another teacher!
    7) For extra-curricular activities (helping with "I just remembered" homework, checking translations, documents, "tomorrow, I will have a test", "Give it to me, Lord, right away, help me", "It only takes 5 minutes for you!" etc.), a full hourly rate will be charged!
    8) The class should be cancelled maximum 24 hours before the appointment! (Also in case of disease and vis maior!) Classes that are not cancelled in time will also be charged! Do not waste the time of your teacher and other students! The classes will be arranged a week earlier so that you can plan your week according to this.
    9) Scooters, electric scooters, skates, bicycles are strictly FORBIDDEN in the school!
    10) The school accepts no financial or other kind of responsibility for lost objects, documents!
    11) Every IFL-student represents the school even out of school, so that civilised, disciplined behaviour should be taken for granted everywhere!
    12) The parents and/or student will constantly be informed about progress. The students can send their questions, opinions and comments to the school director individually or by their parents, in written or in oral form.
    13) The use of telephones, tablets and computers/laptops is NOT ALLOWED during class! Using them for educational purposes is an exception!
Hereby I declare I am aware of the Rules and the fact that any violation can have consequences!
